Two 14-year-olds on trial for rioting in Bahrain

They have denied the charges, which were originally heard in the High Criminal Court before being sent to the Juvenile Court.
There has been ongoing violence in the Shia-majority Gulf state since 2011 when protests against the Sunni rulers broke out.
Bahraini authorities have cracked down on public gatherings and free speech in light of the unrest, and hundreds have been jailed in relation to protests, leading some international human rights organisations to condemn the crackdown.
The teens’ case has been adjourned but no date has been set.
