UAE adopts religious tolerance, people coexistence: Coptic Church

The remark was made at the Ramadan breakfast held yesterday by the Cathedral in presence of HE Ahmed Jumaa Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Al Sheikh Ali Al Hashimi, Religious and Judicial Affairs Adviser at the UAE Presidential Affairs Ministry, HE Dr Hamdan Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the General Authority for Religious Affairs and Awqaf, Tamer Mansour, Egyptian Ambassador to UAE, religious figures and Egyptian community.

Eshaq Al Anba Bishoy, Vicar of St. Antonious Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abu Dhabi, said the UAE under leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses and Rulers and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, occupies prestigious position due to its policies based on justice and peace, which were outlined by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The Church in the name of Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria and the Patriarch of All Africa, congratulated Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Rulers, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the UAE people, on Eid Al Fitr.
