The ministry said in a statement issued on Wednesday that North Korea had violated the Security Council’s resolutions 1874, 1718 and 2087 which call on it to refrain from conducting nuclear tests or using the ballistic missile technology in the tests.
The statement said North Korea must respect international resolutions and conventions and refrain from accelerating tension in the Korean peninsula. It added that the policy adopted by North Korea would further deepen its isolation.
“A responsible approach in international relations is largely dependent on the need to fully respect resolutions by the international community and to comply with nuclear non-proliferation principles to maintain international peace and security.
