He told Khaleej Times that the new law would allow prosecution of the perpetrators of international crimes in the UAE. The law will prevent the UAE from sending perpetrators of those crimes to the International Criminal Court.
Al Awadi added that the legislative bodies have given the final touches on the new law, which would enable the country to prosecute the accused of any crime, on its territory. He added that the new federal law is expected to be passed within the next few weeks.
