The clerics and scholars in Kuwait affirm that these preachers are polluting the minds of the youth with fanatical ideologies by casting them in the circle of terrorism, which clearly violates the course of the Ministry of Awqaf. In a press statement, the preachers were bewildered with Fahad Al-Ahmad Humanitarian Organization for hosting Saudi preacher Abdulaziz Al-Tureifi who is famous for his ideological extremism and audacity in religion and politics, noting that Saudi authorities had once arrested and jailed him for almost twenty days for religious fanatical ideas and speeches he made.
Also Al-Tureifi was banned from giving lectures in King Khaled Mosque, Riyadh, due to what they described as ‘ideological poison’ he propagates to the society. Meanwhile, in a statement on Twitter, activist and preacher Abdullatif Al-Sinan considered that Kuwait hosting Al-Tureifi indicates the country has not learnt from its previous mistakes after it allowed the elements of sedition and revolt to pollute the minds of its youth.
