The opposition added that the security mentality is complicating the political scene as it is systematically undertaking destructive projects by ruthlessly increasing its military and security arsenal and spending enormous budgets on public relations. The same security mentality is undertaking revengeful repressive measures against any democratic transition or any political change pushing the country backwards and creating a state of mistrust and human rights crisis by strengthening authoritarianism and dictatorship.

In the final communiqué of the massive rally titled " We Will Never Kneel" and which marched the main street of Sitra, west of the capital Manama, on Saturday 16th March, 2012, marking the second anniversary of the Peninsula Shield Forces intervention in Bahrain, which committed a massacre in Sitra and attacked the peaceful protesters in the Pearl roundabout, the opposition stressed that  such a  destructive attitude of the regime will drag the country to security incidents to run away from political entitlements, and the whole nation will pay the high price for the good of a group of destructors.

The opposition affirmed that it believes in the political solution to keep the country away from the cost of the security solution. The opposition added that the crisis in Bahrain is constitutional and political, stressing that the country needs a long lasting political resolution that will save the country from the repeated crises, by reclaiming the power to the people who are the source of all powers and the source of legitimacy in any democratic state.

The opposition pointed out that the intervention of the Peninsula Shield forces was meant to repress and crush the people for their demands of democracy and freedom. That intervention came after an unprecedented popular movement in the history of Bahrain, but all the troops and armies failed to beat the peaceful approach of the steadfast people of Bahrain who stressed on their demand of a democratic transition to bring into action the constitutional principle "the people are the source of all powers".

The opposition stressed that repression and terror will not stop the demands movement in Bahrain. It added, the international community is demanded to take serious actions, the political majority of the people of Bahrain refuse to have their sovereignty violated under any pretext.

The opposition asserted that the popular demands will be fulfilled, and the regime’s attempts to run away from them will not help as all violence and oppression will never end the popular reasonable demands.
