The ministry’s assistant undersecretary for commercial supervision Ali Al-Baghli told KUNA that some 118 fines have been issued for shop owners violating consumer product price tags.
Other violations, Al-Baghli said, included fraud and illegal price increase of consumer products.
The ministry of Commerce and Industry will prosecute those violating the law in this respect, he added.
