The interpellation falls on the same day previously allocated for discussing the women’s law. "The grilling is expected to be discussed on the June 22 session, the same session allocated for the women’s law after the women’s committee finishes their report on June 17," said MP Dr Roula Dashti .

Moreover, Dashti explained that the parliament has so far approved 8 reports regarding the draft law. She added that allocating monthly salaries for stay-at-home housewives was not among the reports approved. Dashti added that the door is only open now for amendments to be proposed.

Meanwhile, during their meeting today, the Parliament’s budgets committee is expected to discuss the budget for the Public Institution For Social Security for the fiscal year of 2010/2011, reported Al-Qabas. They will discuss its compatibility with the development plan and the final audit report of the Public Institute for Social Security (PIFSS) for the fiscal year 2008/2009. They are also expected to discuss notes made by the Audit Bureau on these issues.
