During his two-day stay in the Sultanate, Attiyah held talks with H E Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs about the arrangements being made for the summit.
In a statement before leaving, Attiyah said: "A preparatory meeting will be held on November 25, as well as meetings between GCC ministers of finance, economy and foreign affairs will also take place." He said that during the meeting, the ministers will review the proposed agenda for the GCC Summit and the arrangements being made by the host country.
