Discussions during the meeting dealt with fraternal ties between the two countries and ways to enhance and promote them.
The meeting was attended among others by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani and HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
On the UAE side, the meeting was attended by Minister for Presidency Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Earlier, HH the Heir Apparent hosted an Iftar banquet at Al Wajbah Palace in honour of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.
HH Sheikh Tamim later led well-wishers to see off Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation on their departure at Doha International Airport, after a short fraternal visit to Qatar
