They arrived at this decision at the 34th Arab Labour Conference held in Sharm Al Shaikh, Egypt.
The UAE delegation was led by the Minister for Labour, Dr Ali bin Abdullah Al Kaabi.
“The UAE is interested in coordinating the efforts with the other Arab countries in preserving the rights of the workers and their safe movement,” said Mohammad Al Zaabi, Director of the International Relations Department at the Ministry of Labour (MoL).
The conference also discussed the needs and requirements of the labour market in the Arab region.
Meanwhile, the conference voted Dr Ahmed Loqmam of Yemen as the new Director General of ALO for the next four–year period.
