Oman Air increases baggage allowance on flights to India and the Philippines

Oman_Air_2017_-_NS-700x497Oman Air has started the holiday season early by offering an increased baggage allowance on flights from Muscat to India and the Philippines until December 15th.

The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman already offers a generous allowance of two bags per person weighing up to 30 kilograms in total.

Guests flying between Muscat and the following Indian cities can now take advantage of an increased allowance of 40 kilograms for two bags: Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai, Delhi, Trivandrum, Calicut Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Guests flying between Muscat and Manila, the capital of the Philippines, can take advantage of an increased allowance of 50 kilograms for two bags.

Jamal Al Azki, Oman Air country manager for Oman, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our valued guests an increased luggage allowance on flights from Muscat to Manila and eight cities in India.

“This new initiative is an example of how we are always striving to make life easier for our guests.

“We hope many people will take advantage of the offer.”

The increased luggage allowance is available until December 15th and applies to flights from Muscat to selected destinations in India and Manila.

Flights can be booked online or via an Oman Air trade partner.
