In his meeting with Kuwaiti primer and crown prince, Tayebnia conveyed the warm greetings of Iran’s First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri and invited both officials to pay an official visit to Iran to study grounds for expansion of mutual cooperation mainly in the economic sector.
Referring to the recent visit of Kuwait Emir to Tehran, he said the visit left significant impacts on expansion of mutual relations and cooperation and implementation of the agreements already signed between the two countries.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to broaden economic cooperation with Kuwait and exchange views with the Kuwaiti senior officials on ways to enhance level of ties on mutual interests.
Tayebnia said that Iranian government is keen on developing ties with the neighboring states and Kuwait, in particular, as there is no obstacle in the way of bolstering economic cooperation, he said.
Iran is ready to remove the needs of Kuwait for agricultural products and foodstuffs, he said.
Tayebnia welcomed the investment of Kuwait in Iran’s tourism industry and said Iran welcomes investments of Kuwait in other fields.
The two Kuwaiti officials voiced firm determination for expansion of cooperation and removal of existing obstacles.
