The statements to KUNA came during a meeting between the diplomat and the leader of the reforms movement, Michel Aoun.
Al-Qenaei said Kuwait would like peace to settle down among all Lebanese, and that they choose the right person to lead the country in accordance with national interest.
"Our country is with electing the President within the constitutional period," indicated the ambassador who added that Aoun showcased to him his vision for the new Lebanese leadership.
The meeting also touched upon bolstering bilateral relations, concluded the ambassador.
