Head of the cmte MP Walid Al-Tabatabai told the press that committee members called for following the issue of Kuwaitis held at the Bay prison, adding that a security delegation would head to Washington to discuss the issue.
The government must work on the release of all four Kuwaitis held there, said Tabatabai who added that if some of the detainees are to be sent to trial then the venue of the trials must be held in Kuwait.
Tabatabai also touched on the issue of three Kuwaitis who might be added to United Nations’ Security Council (UNSC) blacklist in accordance to US pressure, saying that these citizens did not deserve the accusations.
