He pointed out, citing the report, that over 215 schools in Kuwait out of 585, equivalent to 37 percent, have become too old, and some should be removed immediately .
Limited income among the foreign teachers has prompted many of them to resort to tutoring to cover their family needs, he said, noting that there are no good teachers with poor salaries.
Over 30 percent of private school students are Kuwaitis where their parents have to pay their full education expenses in order to receive better education, Al-Omair added.
He said the Kuwaiti parliament has a crucial role in improving the education situation through constitutional tools and amending educational-related laws as well as holding special meetings to discuss the issue.
