He called on the international community to live up to its responsibility and put an end to the Israeli settlement policies in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories because they were aborting peace in the Middle East.
Al-Attiyah reiterated the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states’ support to the Palestinian cause, and noted that the Palestinian national unity was the shield protecting the Palestinian people.
