In an interview with the Kuwaiti Awan Arabic newspaper published here yesterday, Moussa noted that the valuable contributions by Qatar have helped the Arab league overcome its financial deficit.
The Arab League has managed to survive its financial deficit thanks to Qatar and three other Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, he said.
Asked whether Doha’s success in brokering an intra-Lebanese reconciliation might be built upon or emulated by the Arab League and intra-Palestinian deal might be brokered, Moussa said that several Arab parties are indeed trying to broker a cross-Palestinian reconciliation.
