Addressing them, Prince Naif thanked Allah Almighty for enabling the Kingdom to serve the pilgrims and wished them a safe return home. He conveyed the greetings of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to all security personnel taking part in this year’s Haj.
Prince Naif praised the Haj security forces for having done a good job. The security forces were successful, not only in discharging Haj duties but also in defending the country at all times and places, he said.
The event was attended by Prince Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Muhammad Bin Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, Prince Nawaf Bin Naif Bin Abdul Aziz and other senior officials.
Earlier in the day, Prince Naif, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, received the head of the Control and Investigation Board (CIB), Dr. Saleh Bin Saud Al-Ali, and the undersecretaries and chairmen of CIB committees supervising the Board’s work during this year’s Haj.
Prince Naif commended the efforts exerted by the CIB during the Haj season through governmental agencies involved in the performance of the task in the regions of Makkah, Madina, and at other holy sites.
He referred also to the CIB’s observations and reports provided to the concerned governmental agencies in improving the performance and effectiveness of their working in accordance with the directives of King Abdullah and Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz.
During the reception, several issues related to Haj affairs and the work of the CIB and other agencies concerned with the services of Haj and pilgrims were also reviewed. The meeting was attended by Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Adviser to the Interior Minister.
