The Bahraini monarch gave these remarks during a meeting here Sunday with GCC secretary general Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, currently visiting Bahrain, in preparation for the next GCC summit due to kick off in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamad Bin Isa was briefed by the GCC secretary general on the agenda which would cover a host of political, economic, security and social issues, raised by the ministerial committees. The Bahraini monarch praised the positive role of the secretary general and his aides in supporting the gulf cooperation process to meet peoples” aspirations for more security, stability and development, valuing the GCC leaders” close cooperation and coordination.
