His Majesty discussed good bilateral relations, saying that he was looking forward to more co-operation.
Separately, Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received Mr Mottaki and affirmed that the region was the economic and political focal point of the world and hence all sides should work towards sustainable security and stability. The Premier and the Iranian minister reviewed friendship and co-operation between their countries.
The Premier affirmed Bahrain’s interest in supporting any approach towards reinforcing those ties.
