A spokesman of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood movement, as “irresponsible” that don’t advance efforts being made by the GCC and Egypt to bolster longstanding bilateral ties.
“What affects the UAE affects all GCC member states,” Al Zayani said, noting these remarks disregard the UAE’s hosting of Arabs and its efforts to advocate Arab causes.
He added that the GCC condemns these statements as “inconsistent” with all efforts and attempts aimed at unifying Arab and Muslim ranks.
