The newspaper quoted an official source as saying the visits were planned to discuss with the GCC states means of strengthening Jordan’s ties with the regional countries.
The newspaper indicated Amman was seeking GCC support to help it pass through current hard economic conditions.
Official delegations from the GCC countries are expected to visit Jordan to discuss matters related to forecast financial aid for the country, the source said, noting that such backing would be independent from the USD five billion grant that had already been already allocated by the council states.
