The team will arrive in three airplanes in Sana’a with their medical equipment.

“The team’s task and size only show the depth of brotherly relations between the two countries and Saudi Arabia’s determination to develop relations with Yemen and help its people in different fields,” said Saudi ambassador to Yemen Ali bin Muhammad Al-Hamdan.

The team will also provide the Al Thawra General Hospital in Sana’a with the medical equipment it needs for performing heart surgeries in the hospital.

The hospital’s head, Dr. Abdulkareem Al-Khulani, said the mission is the largest of its kind, compared to the sizes of other Saudi medical teams that visited Yemen before. “It is an advanced step in terms of bilateral relations,” he said.
