The anti-US demonstrations were held in the Qatif region of Eastern Province, the cities of Omran, Dammam and several other areas late on Saturday.
The protesters chanted slogans against the United States and set its flags on fire.
The demonstrators also called on the Saudi regime to expel the US ambassador and recall the Saudi envoy from Washington.
They said Washington was responsible for the production of the sacrilegious movie, demanding that the perpetrators of such insults be brought to justice.
Outrage is growing across the Muslim world over the $5-million movie, named Innocence of Muslims, which was reportedly financed by more than 100 Zionist Jews.
The blasphemous film has triggered massive demonstrations across Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Palestine, Sudan, Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Iraq, Morocco, Syria, Kuwait, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Britain, the United States, France, Belgium, Australia and several other countries.
On September 11, the US consulate building in the Libyan city of Benghazi was attacked, and US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three staff members were killed in the incident.
