Pointing to Turkey’s adventurism against the Syrian government, Ghanoom noted that Turkey’s recent meddling in Syria that has taken "military dimensions is nothing new, but it has continued since the beginning of the Syrian crisis".
"The interferences in Syria began since a long time ago by training terrorists and sending them to Syria. We believe that Turkey’s military strikes on Syria on lame excuses are the continuation of those interferences," the Syrian lawmaker said.
Ghanoom reiterated that the terrorists who are engaged in killing the innocent Syrian people and destroying the country’s infrastructure have been trained by enemies of the Syrian nation, including Turkey, US and the Zionist regime.
He further reiterated that Syrians are against any foreign intervention in their country.
"Armed men are transferred to Syria by Turkey and with the support of the western countries and some Arab states, including Qatar and Saudi Arabia," he added.
The lawmaker rejected the Turkish government’s claim that Syria had fired a mortar shell at the Turkish town of Akcakale.
"This (attacking Akcakale) is a pretext for Turkey’s adventurism against Syria and it is untrue," Ghanoom said.

The article’s writer, Sheera Frenkel, said a major portion of the cargo on the Libyan ship is making its way to armed groups inside Syria.
Quoting a member of the ‘Free Army’, who called himself Abu Mohammad, the article said the over-400-ton cargo included "SAM-7 surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades."
On September 10, 2012, Turkish Airlines transited Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants from North Waziristan in Pakistan to the Turkish borders with Syria, sources had revealed.

Addressing the 16th heads-of-state summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran in August, the Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi noted terrorist attacks on his nation, and said the "terrorists are backed up by certain foreign states."
