Darfur armed groups agree to join Doha talks

The meeting covered the outcome of the Darfur peace efforts following the signing of the Goodwill and Confidence Building document agreement between the Sudanese government and the Justice and Equality Movement in Doha of late. The necessity of the participation of all the factions in the peace process was also taken up during the meeting.

Meanwhile, the factions who took part in the meeting agreed to join the peace talks in Doha by committing to join the talks with one negotiating delegation adopting a unified position to help bringing peace in the war-torn region.
