Yesterday was the last day of filing papers and the final figures are expected to be released by the Ministry of Interior tomorrow.
On Sunday, 16 nominations were filed and all of them were male candidates. Three of the nominations were filed from Al Wakra (constituency No 10).
The maximum number of nominations has so far been filed from Abu Hamour (constituency No 12), followed by Al Maizer. From Abu Hamour, a dozen citizens have filed their papers, while the number was nine in respect of Al Maizer.
