Arab parliament calls for boosting solidarity of nation


The AIP, at conclusion of its second regular session that got underway on Saturday, rejected all bids to seek normalization "with the Zionist emeny ahead of full withdrawal from all Arab territories in implementation of resolutions of the international legitimacy." The parliament called for healting the rifts in the Palestinians’ ranks, support the Palestinians in their quest for sake of establishing an independent state and rebuffed Israel’s settlement schemes and judaization of the Holy City of Jerusalem.


It called on the international community to renounce the double-standard policy regarding the nuclear arms warning that such an approach would lead to further violence and terrorism in the world.
For her part, the chairwoman of the parliament, Huda Bin Amer, indicated at a news conference that AIP had devised a plan for establishment of Arab unity, adding that the talks during the meetings focused on terms and contents of the draft statute of the AIP.
