"Shaping the future is not an easy task – there are too many intangibles over the horizon, but it is important to have a clear vision and clear goals," he told guests at a gala dinner organised by the Bankers’ Society of Bahrain and held at the Bahrain International Circuit.
"These goals can transform Bahrain from a regional pioneer into a genuine global player."
Bahraini companies need to focus on where the economy will be in 10 years’ time, and use new technologies to train the workforce of the future, said the Crown Prince, who is chairman of the Economic Development Board.
"The creation of high-value jobs is a critical part of our vision."
