The delegation met with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Gen. Raymond Henault and other high-level NATO officials, said the statement. Topics discussed included current political issues, the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative and NATO’s outreach to the Mediterranean and the broader Middle East region and NATO operations.
