“The BATC meeting aims at enhancing business trade and encouraging investments between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the rest of Asia,” said Othman Sharif, BCCI Board Director and BATC Chairman. “Being a vital supporter and contributor to important economic projects as well as promoter of Asian investments in the Kingdom during the last 20 years, BATC will discuss the formulation of more effective strategies and policies that would attract greater volumes of Asian investors into the country, under the umbrella of the BCCI.”
The Chairman of BATC further added that the planned committee meeting will also address the issue of encouraging more Asian traders to participate in events organised by the MOIC and Economic Development Board, so as to foster communication with Bahraini officials in areas of business, economics, industry, and foremost benefits to be reaped from the US-Bahrain FTA.
Attending the upcoming assembly are several ministers, senior officials, BCCI board of directors, and chairmen of the chamber’s various committees.
