"We cannot talk about issues that we have no say in," he told reporters on the sidelines of a joint press conference with visiting Hungarian Foreign Minister Kinga Gongz.
Asked to comment on the coming interpellation of Oil Minister Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, he said, "The minister will take the stand on June 25, and I am sure that he is ready." He explained that during the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, the ministers listened to comments of Sheikh Ali on topics listed in the interpellation motion.
"Most of the topics cover a press interview which the minister in question responded to in two statements," Sheikh Mohammad said.
He added, "We have become accustomed to this political activity and have become immune." On Sunday, three MPs filed an interpellation motion against the oil minister, and the discussion of the motion was set by National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi for the parliament’s June 25 session.
