Talks on the possibility of setting up a transport company for carrying ordinary and registered letters, items handled by Mumtaz Express mail service and parcels had figured at the GCC Postal Summit held in Doha in 2005.
The GCC postal officials held another round of discussions on the company formation last year when they met in Dubai, under the aegis of the Emirates Post, Sheikh Abdulaziz said.
The third round of talks in Muscat will cover viability, economic feasibility and other related issues concerning the proposed company, the Q-Post official said.
