GCC reject military action


They maintained that the stability of GCC countries was necessary for the stability of global trade, Al-Qabas reported.

They also added that the region cannot afford additional military conflicts and that they opposed any militaryaction conducted by Israel on its neighbors.

The maintained that the Arab states, in addition to Iran, opposed Israeli strikes as a means to resolve outstanding issues in the region.

The GCC members also upheld their belief that the Middle East should be a region that is entirely free of weapons of mass destruction. Instead, they said, countries in the region should use dialogue and diplomacy as a means to resolve conflicts.
