The lease terms are six years for each aircraft, which includes two Airbus A319-100 and three Airbus A330-200. Gulf Air Chief Executive Officer Björn Näf signed on behalf of the airline, while the ILFC Senior Vice President Alex A. Khatibi signed for his leasing company at the Gulf Air headquarters in Muharraq.
The A319-100s are scheduled for delivery this month and in September, while the A330-200s will be delivered in March, April and May 2009. The aircraft will be used throughout Gulf Air’s network to support its ongoing growth and expansion strategy.
