Azzam Al Tamimi is the Director of the Institute of Islamic Political Thought in London. He is also the author of several books the latest of which is: Hamas; the unwritten chapters. He was born in Hebron, Palestine, grew up in Kuwait and educated in UK. He is a board member of the Arabic satellite TV channel, Al Hewar. Dr Tamimi is known for his outspoken and active anti-occupation stands. His writings, commentaries (on Radio and TV) and dynamic activism as an anti-war campaigner have made him a distinguished intellectual and activist.
