Speaking to reporters following inauguration of the ninth Kuwait theatrical festival, Al-Muhailbi praised the Kuwaiti artists who have given Kuwait a lot of their time and efforts and contributed in highlighting the image of Kuwait worldwide.
The inauguration was attended by the Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Bader Al-Refai and a large number of Kuwaiti and foreign artists.
Director of Theater department and head of the festival Kamla Al-Ayyad said the festival was a goof opportunity for exchanging expertise among the Arab artists.
A number of artists were honored during the festival for their contribution to the theatrical movement.
