The tour included the northern Al-Salmi and Al-Abdali borders as well as the Sabiyya coastal border and Failaka Island accompanied by Assistant
Undersecretary for Border Security Affairs Major General Sulaiman Al-Fahad.
Sheikh Jaber carried the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Sheikh Jaber praised efforts carried out by border security forces and their readiness to confront any threats to Kuwaiti security.
He also said he was impressed by the degree of technology used throughout the border exits and security cameras that follow any kinds of movement.
Al-Abdali border is to witness huge developments in the time to come, in light of its importance to trade and commercial exchange with neighbouring states, he also said.
