Davoudi comment came after he concluded his talks with visiting Qatari Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al-Thani, noting that Tehran and Doha share a common views regarding issues in the region, including peaceful benefits from the Iranian nuclear program, the rights of Palestinians, Iraq and Lebanon.
Talks between the two sides focused on boosting bilateral relations and the importance of enhancing cooperation in the electricity, investment, tourism, and air transportation sectors, the Iranian official explained.
Davoudi also referred to previous visit of Iranian President to Doha, Qatar, last December to participate in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit.
For his part, Sheikh Hamad expressed comfort for the current visit, noting that talks highlighted all aspects of cooperation between the two countries.
The Qatari premier arrived in Iran last night on a two-day official visit.
