"I will not budge from a set of principles that have been my guiding light throughout my career and I am extremely careful to apply the law wherever necessary," she said.
She emphasized that in her capacity as a minister, she is bound by the nation’s laws that chart out her course of action regarding any issue of public interest.
With regard to the controversial draft law for private schools, she noted that it was up for discussion by the education committee at the National Assembly, which has not completed its examination as of yet.
