The appropriate Amiri decrees were issued stating adjustment of the post of Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and on the eight appointments proposed.
The appointments were:
Bader Mishari Al-Humaidhi as Minister of Oil.
Jaber Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as Minister of Interior.
Jamal Ahmad Al-Shihab as Minister of Justice and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor.
Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Minister of Information.
Abdullah Saud Al-Muhailbi as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Minister of Communication.
Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Taweel as Minister of Health.
Abdulwahed Mahmoud Al-Awadhi as Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs.
Mustafa Jassem Al-Shimali as Minister of Finance.
An Amiri decree was also issued relieving Dr. Abdullah Maatouq Al-Maatouq of his duties as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
The Prime Minister is charged to see to implementation of the decrees and its communication to the National Assembly, and the changes are into effect as of date of issue, the decree said.
