His Highness the Amir and Al-Hashemi held talks on bolstering bilateral relations and means of boosting cooperation during the meeting, attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Sabah hoped that the Iraqi people would resolve to unity in order for peace and stability to settle in Iraq, wishing officials from the fellow Arab country would put an end to the deterioration there.
On his behalf, the Iraqi Vice President lauded Kuwait’s contributions to Iraq, saying that Kuwaiti people always supported their Iraqi brothers.
The reception was attended by senior officials from both countries.
