Al-Mutairi said the Information Ministry must prevent the filming of TV series that insult Islamic beliefs as well as Kuwaiti society. He said the issue was agreed upon and laws were passed through the National Assembly when two former ministers, Mohammad Abu Al-Hassan and Mohammad Al-Sanousi, were politically questioned.
The holy month of Ramadan is about to start and we warn Information Minister Abdullah Al-Muhailbi against committing the same mistakes. We will use our constitutional powers in case such mistakes are repeated," Al-Mutairi added.
