This would help the government prepare its list of items on time, reported Al-Jarida. The main issues discussed during the meeting were the government’s scheme , the cost involved, the State’s new structural scheme, the KD 50 salary raise and the fourth oil refinery project.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Kuwait needs to execute massive projects that create an economical and commercial boom that eventually help elevate citizens’ living standards. Further, the PM criticized several cabinet members for the delay in submitting their ministries’ proposals.
Faisal Al-Hajji, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, said that the Cabinet would convene tomorrow to discuss the reports prepared by its economic, legal, educational and health committees. He added that the Supreme Committee in charge of preparing the Arab Economic Summit to be held in Kuwait in January, would hold its first meeting on Thursday.
