"Kuwait and the UK are together in combating terrorism and limiting its impact," Sheikh Jaber said in a statement at receiving Baroness Scotland of Asthal, who is currently Attorney General for England and Wales, Law Officers’ Department.
His talks with the baroness were attended by the Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major General Nasser Al-Othman as well as UK Ambassador to Kuwait Stuart Laing.
Sheikh Jaber underlined the "depth and strength of UK-Kuwait relations" and stressed the variety of ways to promote terrorism including terrorist ideas, terrorist propaganda as well as drug terrorism and terrorist technology.
He also underlined the significant importance of exchanging information in this regard.
As for the baroness, she pointed to the "regional and international dangers associated with terrorism" and called for regional and international cooperation and coordination in this regard.
"Some very ingenious ways are now being used by terrorists necessitating more coordination and cooperation to face up to them," she said.
