Boukhadour told reporters following his weekly meeting with the National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi that the Oil Minister was prepared for the grilling submitted by MPs Musallam Al-Barrak, Abdullah Al-Roumi and Adel Al-Sarawi on Monday.

He added that he, along with Minister of Communications and State Minister for national Assembly Affairs Shareeda Al-Moasherji, discussed with Al-Kharafi the pivots of the grilling.

As for Tuesday’s session, Boukhadour said the MPs would discuss some sport laws and regulations that had been agreed on between the government and the parliamentary sport committee.

He added the parliament would also tackle the financial disclosure law whose report has been completed by the financial and economic affairs committee.

The minister hoped the MPs would adhere to the grilling points and be objective, saying he also hopes the grilling would not contribute to paralyzing work in the state’s institutions.

Asked whether the government would come up with a scenario to confront a no-confidence vote against the Oil Minister, Boukhadour said "Let us wait and listen to what the MPs have to say," expressing confidence that the MPs would be well to their responsibilities.
