The Premier reiterated that the government provided job opportunities for citizens based on their qualifications and without any discrimination.
He hailed the National Employment Project for reducing the number of unemployed and said the government organisations could not provide jobs for all. The private sector as a partner in the economic process is capable of creating more jobs, he said.
Shaikh Khalifa said the government always provided same quality of services and facilities in all areas. He said the government had allocated BD447 million to develop the Northern Governorate in six years. The development projects will include housing schemes, road and sewerage networks, and government offices. Shaikh Khalifa discussed with residents their requirements and asked officials to study the needs of the governorate. Citizens’ welfare continues to remain a priority of the government, he said.
