The go-ahead given during the weekly session is expected to be reciprocated by the other GCC countries where Bahrainis are working in the government and public sectors.
With the opening of the Bahrain-Qatar Causeway, employment opportunities will increase in Qatar, a Shura member said. “Our people will find jobs in Qatar and with such a gesture by Bahrain, the Qatari government and public sector are expected to reciprocate positively,” the member said. Bahrainis are working all over the GCC, especially in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait.
