This was disclosed by Morayyea Hassan Al Shahrani, Director of Saudi General Directorate of Military Survey. The joint committee held its second meeting at Doha Sheraton Hotel yesterday.
The Qatari side was chaired by Assistant Foreign Minister for Follow-Up Affairs H E Mohammad Abdullah Al Rumaihi, who is also head of the Qatari side in the technical Committee for Border Demarcation with Saudi Arabia, while the Saudi side was chaired by Director of Saudi General Directorate of Military Survey Morayyea Hassan Al Shahrani.
The joint committee sets the technical specifications and contractual terms for the implementation of border demarcation between the two countries.
In the keynote address, Al Rumaihi welcomed the Saudi side and wished that the meetings would be fruitful and contribute to further strengthening and enhancing the relations between Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and fulfill the aspirations of the both countries’ leaderships.
